Sardis is a small community located just south of Chilliwack. A place that was once just a quiet agricultural community is now a desirable destination for families on-the-go, commuters travelling between Chilliwack and Abbotsford, or those travelling east into the Interior. With a population of more than 21,000 the growth of Sardis is reflected in the considerable amount of housing built since 1986. As a result, a number of commercial developments have been brought to the area. Currently, Chilliwack’s largest shopping center, the Cottonwood Mall, sits just at the edge of Sardis on Luckakuck Way attracting local shoppers from the surrounding area.

Although single-family homes dominate the community, with the balance split between townhomes and condos, the outlining areas have attractive acreages with views of the surrounding mountain ranges including Vedder Mountain and Mount Baker.
With the diverse demographic that Sardis has it provides something for everyone, from scenic walking trails to kayaking and fishing in the Chilliwack/Vedder River. Sardis is also home to the award winning community of Garrison Crossing.
