LOT 27, PLAN NWP25452, SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 4, RANGE 28, MERIDIAN W6, NEW WESTMINSTER LAND DISTRICT
The Village of Harrison Hot Springs edges Harrison Lake and is located 32 km north east of Chilliwack, with a population of 1600. Knowing what we know today about this town, it’s hard to believe that Harrison Hot Springs didn’t even appear on a map until 1846 and the springs themselves weren’t discovered till the late 1850’s during the caribou gold rush.
There are two hot springs in the area and they are Potash and Sulphur which are 40 degrees C (120 degrees F) and 62 degrees C (145 degrees F) respectively. These eminent hot springs are what attract so many tourists each year, therefore the town has plenty of options for accommodations including the well-known Harrison Hot Springs Hotel, built in 1926.
Besides lounging in the hot springs, there are many other recreational activities such as golfing, boating, fishing, and hiking. Despite the many vacationing qualities Harrison has to offer, there are many that even call Harrison their home. All along the 77 km lake you will see everything from executive lakefront condos, townhomes, houses and even remote cabins in the woods. This beautiful small town really does have something for everyone.
HARRISON HOT SPRINGS SALES/ACTIVES RATIO
This graph explains the percentage difference between the number of sales to the number of listings, in any given month.
*Example: If the sales to active listings ratio for May was 25%, that would mean that 25% of the active listings in the month of May were sold.
Although not hard and fast, the rule of thumb, is that anythingbetween 10% – 20% is a balanced market. Which in turn, would mean anythingabove 20% would be a sellers market, and below 10% would be a buyers market.
